JNTech Welcomes Nigerian Minister of Housing and Urban Development

Release time: 2025-12-03

Recently, JNTech Renewable Energy warmly received the Nigerian Minister of Housing and Urban Development and his delegation at its headquarters. The visit focused on “viewing products, factories, projects, and discussing cooperation,” with both sides engaging in practical exchanges on topics such as residential power supply security, rural electrification, agricultural irrigation, and energy efficiency improvements in public facilities.

The visiting team first toured JNTech’s R&D center and production workshop. The company introduced its technological strengths: approximately 40% of its personnel are R&D staff, and since its establishment in 2006, it has continuously invested in core technology R&D, possessing a complete product matrix covering energy storage systems, inverters, and controllers. Representative products include residential lithium iron phosphate energy storage battery, 1.2kW–15kW residential off-grid inverters, microgrid energy storage systems, and solar water pump inverters for agricultural irrigation. On-site technicians demonstrated the product factory testing, aging tests, and IP protection testing processes, visually showcasing the products’ weather resistance and long-term operational reliability.

In the demonstration area, JNTech showcased several implemented solutions: village-level microgrid prototypes, residential backup power systems, and solar irrigation solutions. Engineers demonstrated direct solar power supply with energy storage switching, MPPT efficiency tracking, and remote monitoring (RS485/GPRS) and fault self-diagnosis functions through hands-on demonstrations. The delegation expressed great interest in the company’s ability to achieve “daytime power generation, nighttime power consumption, and unattended operation and maintenance” in remote areas, particularly praising the application of solar water pumps in arid-region agriculture and water supply security.

During the meeting, both parties reached a consensus on the cooperation model for project implementation in Nigeria, including joint demonstration site construction, technical training, and localized operation and maintenance support. JNTech proposed providing the Nigerian market with a one-stop solution including product supply, on-site commissioning, training courses, and spare parts response to ensure the smooth progress of projects from pilot projects to large-scale replication.
