Description

Role: The High-Voltage Solar Charger is installed between the PV array and the battery/inverter subsystem.
It accepts DC from the PV array, performs optimized, demand-oriented charging, and outputs regulated DC to the battery bank.
It accepts a wide PV voltage range. Power is converted with high efficiency, minimizing losses and heat.
Built-in MPPT-style control (matching JNTech wide MPPT inverters) ensures more energy harvested.
Typical applications: high-head solar water pumping, high-voltage battery charging in microgrids, hybrid solar + battery installations where long PV strings or high PV voltage are used to reduce cable loss and BOS cost.
Safety & isolation: Multiple layers of electrical isolation prevent high-voltage leakage and ensure EMC compatibility in variable-frequency environments; the unit also includes anti-reverse protection on PV and battery terminals.
Protection & reliability: Comprehensive fault protections (over-voltage, over-current, short circuit, radiator over-temperature, etc.) plus forced cooling enable continuous, long-term operation even under heavy duty and high-head pump scenarios.
System synergy: When combined with JNTech solar pumping inverters and multi-stage pump units, the charger helps optimize energy flows, reduce reactive power and lower lifetime costs—making it ideal for high-head irrigation and remote water-supply projects.
