The China Household Photovoltaic Conference grandly opened on September 19th at the Wanda Hyatt Hotel in Jinan, the capital of the Spring City. The conference was co-organized by the Photovoltaic Committee of the China Productivity Promotion Center Association, Century New Energy Network, Quanmin Photovoltaic, Kechuanghui, and Zhongmin New Energy, and co-organized by JNTech Renewable Energy Co., Ltd. (JNTech) and Hanergy Holding Group Co., Ltd.

At the conference, Mr. Hou Yunchun, former Deputy Director of the Development Research Center of the State Council; Mr. Jiang Yushan, Vice Governor of the People’s Government of Shandong Province; Mr. Shi Dinghuan, Counselor of the State Council and Honorary President of the China Renewable Energy Society; and Ms. Liu Yulan, President of the China Productivity Promotion Center Association, delivered opening speeches.
Themed “Gaining Sunshine, Supporting the Best and Strongest,” this conference will discuss the development models, challenges, and solutions for household photovoltaics in my country. It aims to promote the industry goal of achieving grid parity for distributed photovoltaics by 2020. By integrating innovative approaches such as green finance, characteristic towns, public-private partnerships (PPPs), energy internet development, and energy storage plus distributed photovoltaics, the conference aims to advance distributed photovoltaics from demonstration to large-scale deployment nationwide.
The distributed and household photovoltaics have experienced explosive growth in China since 2016, particularly in the more developed eastern coastal provinces of Shandong, Anhui, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu. They are rapidly becoming part of everyday life, increasing incomes while further promoting the development of the renewable energy industry.
As a producer, consumer, and investor in the photovoltaic industry, China continues to expand its industry scale and innovate its technologies, leading the global development of photovoltaic technology.
At this conference, JNTech Renewable Energy integrated energy storage into traditional household distributed photovoltaic systems, launching the “Bai Xing+” household energy storage photovoltaic power generation system.
Mr. Ma Zhibao, Chief Engineer and General Manager of the New Energy Application Products Division at JNTech, explained that the
“Bai Xing+” system is a diversified system that can be used as a pure storage and charging system, a frequent charging and discharging system, a self-generation and self-consumption system, an emergency power supply system, and a photovoltaic storage and grid charging system, meeting various system application requirements.
“Bai Xing+” features multiple operating modes, including grid-connected, off-grid, self-generation and self-consumption, and reverse charging from the grid or DG. It utilizes a lithium battery solution and an advanced battery management system (BMS) to achieve long cycle life and meet ultra-long life requirements. Furthermore, it integrates an advanced energy management solution (EMS) to achieve fully automatic and smooth grid-connected/off-grid switching, peak shaving and valley filling, and emergency power supply, adapting to complex grid environments and improving energy efficiency. Furthermore, core system components, such as the inverter and solar panels, are designed with high conversion efficiency, high protection levels, long life, and high reliability. The system also features German industrial design, intelligent monitoring, flexible networking, support for online program upgrades, a modular design, and easy maintenance. It ensures constant power supply to households and has huge market demand.
At this conference, the “Bai Xing+” household energy storage photovoltaic power generation system received widespread attention and recognition from industry insiders. A senior analyst at HIS MarKit, analyzing the global photovoltaic landscape and considering the current status of domestic photovoltaic development, repeatedly emphasized that the combination of energy storage and photovoltaics will be the future trend of photovoltaic development. The deputy director of the State Grid Shandong Electric Power Dispatching and Control Center, considering the current state of the power grid and the magnitude and difficulty of nationwide grid reform, agreed that energy storage systems will solve this problem. Whether it’s energy storage systems or photovoltaic power generation systems, future energy use will undoubtedly be diversified. In the future, China’s household photovoltaics and energy storage will inevitably be closely linked. Only in this way can they have greater commercial and market value. “Bai Xing+” will lead distributed photovoltaics into new and broader application areas.
